  • Krysta Halas, LCPC

    OWNER, FOUNDER, PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Krysta is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. Krysta has worked in a variety of settings, such as private practice, Northern Illinois Academy, Linden Oaks Hospital, and Eating Recovery Center in their partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.  She enjoys working with children (8 years and older), adolescents, and adults. Krysta provides individual therapy, play therapy, family therapy, and couples therapy.

    Krysta believes YOU already have all the answers and she strives to harness your potential and strengths to facilitate growth through healing past trauma and future challenges as they come. Her approach involves being flexible, compassionate, supportive, non-judgmental, open, and transparent in order to help you work towards your goals. Krysta will assist by empowering yourself through skill building, promoting insight, creating peace within, and gaining confidence. Her goal is to work alongside you, help you foster the hope and wellbeing in creating a meaningful life while decreasing your distress.

  • Kimberly Just, LCSW

    OWNER, FOUNDER, PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Dominican University. Kim has extensive experience working in various settings, including community mental health, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. She provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, women’s issues, and ADHD.

    Kim believes that building a genuine therapeutic relationship with her clients is essential. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves, enabling them to make meaningful progress. Kim approaches challenges with compassion, transparency, and flexibility, supporting clients as they navigate their therapeutic journeys.

    Kim’s therapeutic style is holistic and strengths-based, considering the whole person rather than solely focusing on current symptoms. Kim genuinely believes that each individual has the potential to live their best life, and works to help her clients embrace that belief as well.

  • Candice Pellicori, LCSW PSYCHOTHERAPIST

    Candice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a concentration in Child and Family Studies from Jane Addams College of Social Work-University of Illinois at Chicago. Candice has worked in a variety of settings, such as Thresholds, Illinois Department of Corrections, and Eating Recovery Center in their intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. She enjoys working with adults, 18 and older. Candice provides individual therapy, family therapy and couples therapy focusing on issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, parenting, racial identity, incarceration, and family dynamics. 

    Candice believes that YOU already have what it takes to become the best version of yourself, and her goal is to assist you in recognizing your strengths to overcome past traumatic experiences and developing skills to effectively navigate future challenges to create a life that makes you proud. Candice has mastered quickly building rapport with clients by modeling authenticity, affording clients to be their authentic selves. She offers a compassionate, comfortable and safe environment for clients to feel confident in making progress.

    Candice's therapeutic style approaches treatment with cultural humility, considering all facets of the person and being willing to continue to learn to remain abreast of changes regarding culture and its impact on clients. Candice utilizes a strengths-based approach to assist clients with recognizing and building on their strengths to move forward in treatment. Candice approaches the therapeutic relationship with compassion, curiosity, confidence, flexibility, honesty, and support. She believes that clients are the experts on themselves and uses her skill sets to assist clients with overcoming barriers to becoming the best versions of themselves.
